Terms of Engagement
Welcome to Harmony. This isn’t just a forum—it’s a staging ground for rethinking the future of work. Below are the terms of engagement for operating in this space. Read them like your access depends on it—because it does.
Access Clearance
By joining this forum, you’re granted a limited, revocable license to operate—provided you follow these terms. No clearance, no access.
You’re cleared if:
- You’re 13 years or older.
- You haven’t been banned by HQ.
- You follow the Acceptable Use & Content Standards below.
Acceptable Use Protocol
This is a shared ops channel, not a spam trap or black-hat hangout. Here’s what’s off-limits:
- Breaking the law.
- Hijacking other agents’ accounts.
- Running unsolicited campaigns or scraping intel.
- Using Harmony as your ad network, sales funnel, or spam cannon.
- Masquerading as someone you’re not.
- Stress-testing our systems without permission.
- Circumventing security (you’d be surprised how often people try).
- Embedding or framing Harmony.tech elsewhere.
- Encouraging others to break these terms.
Content Standards
You’re responsible for your drops. Keep them clean. Don’t upload:
- Illegal, abusive, or toxic content.
- Malware, spyware, or digital traps.
- Leaked data or confidential intel.
- Placeholder junk meant to reserve handles or territory.
Your content must be yours to share—and safe to share.
Your Account
Create an account to access certain ops. You’ll need a valid email address or social media account and a secure password.
You’re accountable for everything done using your credentials. If your account’s been compromised, report it immediately. We’ll secure the perimeter.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate protocol.
Your Content
What you post belongs to you. But you grant Harmony a license to store, analyze, and distribute your content across our forum and other Harmony-controlled channels and publications. We don’t own your stuff—but we need operational usage rights to make the system function. (For details, see the Contribution and Copyright Policy.)
If your content is deleted, that license ends—after our systems cycle it out of backups and caches.
You may choose to share under Creative Commons or similar licenses. If someone violates those terms, we’re not liable for enforcement—but we’ll listen if things go sideways.
Your Responsibility
You agree to shield Harmony from legal fallout caused by violations of these terms—by you or by someone using your account. You’ll help us handle investigations and settle claims. We won’t make admissions or deals on your behalf without your sign-off.
No Guarantees (a.k.a. Disclaimers)
You use this forum at your own risk. It’s offered as-is, with no guarantees. We don’t vouch for third-party links or external services.
Limits on Liability
If something goes wrong, our maximum liability is $6, the price of a decent cappuccino. That’s the cap. No exceptions unless the law says otherwise.
Feedback
Got ideas? Great. But if you send them to us, you agree we can use them—no strings, no royalties, no promises. Don’t send us confidential info unless you’re cool with it being public.
Termination
You can exit anytime. So can we. If this agreement ends, so does your access. The following sections still apply even after departure:
Your Content, Feedback, Your Responsibility, Disclaimers, Limits on Liability, Disputes.
Disputes
All disputes fall under Dutch law, and courts in The Netherlands have jurisdiction.
General Terms
- If a clause is broken, we’ll rewrite it to make it enforceable—or remove it entirely.
- You can’t transfer your rights. We can, under certain circumstances (acquisitions, reorgs, etc.).
- Waiving a breach doesn’t waive future breaches.
- This agreement overrides all others, written or verbal, about your forum use.
